Hint number four...listen, and encourage others to talk about themselves. We so often want to have all the right things to say. Many times if we would just encourage others to speak things would go so much better for us.

Hint number five...remember your audience when you talk. Speak in terms of things that interest the person you are communicating with and you will see a huge difference in the way they respond. Stop trying to be such a smarty pants, no one cares that you are a genious. Mirror the way the other person speaks and you will get their attention.

Hint number six...sincerely make the other person feel special. It is easy, look them in the eye, appreciate what they are saying, and most importantly smile. When you make the other person feel special you have given a gift to yourself as well.
